I think it's a subjective matter really. Subjective to your thoughts and your imagination. Everyone's different, with different thoughts and opinions and ways of viewing something. I remember when I was first introduced to anime, I was so immersed in their pretty colourful world of wide-eyed bishies with gorgeous hair (of various calours) that I tend to imagine them everywhere. Even applying them to certain fandoms or imagining myself in their world. And it was fun!
I remember having like the biggest crush ever on Byakuya (Bleach) and Fuji & Shishido (Prince of Tennis) and Hakkai (Saiyuki). Those are the first few animes I was first introduced to. *dips head shyly*
I remember people telling me how silly it is to crush on cartoon figures but my heart wouldn't listen. Til today, there are still a certain anime/manga characters that I am head over heels in love with and I wouldn't give them up for anything. Silly crush or not.
*hums happily as I tacked a gorgeous poster of Maki-san (Cafe Kichijoji De) on the front of my planner*
