I'm crying with laughter. I suppose he and drunk!Sherlock are not quite that different, hahaha. Sherlock slurs more, whereas it seems Benedict just loses track of his thoughts and talks faster. Video is also here. Definition of adorkable. :)

EDIT: Oh, and then there's the aftermath, in which it looks like Dan Stevens (Benedict's good friend who presented him the award; he played Matthew Crawley on Downton Abbey) is taking care of an overheating and silly and adorable Benedict. *squishes them*

Right, so there's a part of me --albeit a rather small part-- that worries about him being a little too out of control. I worry that he'll do his career serious damage, that he'll cross a line that the public won't forgive him for or something.

On the other hand, I can't quite stop giggling. This is so hilariously doofy, I'm not even sure where to begin with how awesome it is.

I always worry about that sort of thing as well, but I've come to the decision to just trust him to take care of himself and not do anything too damaging. :)

This seems like a very informal event (I mean, to put it in perspective, Kim Kardashian won the "GQ Woman of the Year" award, so...). It's good to see him relaxing and having fun, though! "Hilariously doofy," lolol!
