Oh, I know! It's glorious in so many ways. That image of him toeing off those boxer-shorts, that slightly guilty smile at the thought of what he was about to do to us, the indignant shock when he iced himself from the helmet...

Some clever Sherlockian at Tumblr found a shot from the unaired pilot where you can see rather similar-colored shorts under his trousers. Almost certainly a coincidence, but somehow that doesn't keeep it from adding to the fun. :-)

I love the way the camera hovers ever so briefly (ha ha) over the boxer briefs after he extricates himself from them.
