Organic Food

shadowfireflame...any better than non-organic food? I'd like to hear Michael Pollan's views on the subject. I know it's bad if the emphasis is on feeding the hungry and quantity-not-quality, but just how bad is it? Do the gains in quality (i.e., for our health) and the savings to the environment overcome the loss in quantity?
