Fic Recs: Severus/Harry (Snarry)

Here are my Severus/Harry (Snarry) best-of-the-best fic recs, though I know there are a ton I’m missing.
 
 

• Benefits by schemingreader
  Severus/Harry. A ridiculous little short fic written with a sparse, funny, deadpan, and ultimately moving style. It's hard to explain, but for me it just works. Also features a really sweet Harry who literally knows nothing about sex and really funny Ron/Hermione/Luna (yeah). DH-compliant, Harry has to do sex magic to fix Snape, whatever, doesn't matter. Just read it. Quote: Fortunately or not, Snape chose this moment to descend the stairs to his kitchen. He loomed in the doorway. Luna rose to her feet. "Professor Snape," she said. "Good morning." "Is this a home invasion?" Snape said. "Am I being robbed? What are you doing here?" "No sir," Luna said, "It's a rescue."


• Birth of a Dancing Star (241,154 words) by asecretchord
  Severus/Harry, Hermione/Ron, Neville/Luna/Draco (I know!), mpreg. This begins as an epic eighth-year story where Snape survived Nagini’s bite and is recovering with the help of Harry and Hogwarts, and they discover that Harry is pregnant. While it covers Harry and Severus’ love for one another, where this really shines is in its portrayal of politics and the ramifications of all sorts of loose ends that canon didn’t cover, such as the place of the now-disgraced Slytherin house and PTSD in the Hogwarts students who were there for seventh year. But of course I love the way it presents the mpreg, with all the political results to the Wizarding World of Harry being pregnant. The world-building here is really great.


• Cambiare Podentes (~600,000 words) by jordangrant
  Severus/Harry, mentions of OMCs/Harry. In this phenomenal, epic story, a prophecy forces Harry to become sexually enslaved to Severus in order to combine their magical strength and defeat Voldemort once and for all. Wow wow wow wow wow, what a masterpiece these two long stories are, taking us slowly and logically from Harry and Snape mutually despising each other to nothing short of love. In these stories, Harry and Severus have to come to terms with everything the bond requires of them: what it means to willingly give yourself to another person, what it means to be responsible for another person’s every need, how they both handle the suffering and unfairness that life throws at them, how they go from being enemies to finding strength with each other. At times I was reading and just so overwhelmed by how perfectly the author handles every development, exploring all the psychological and sexual developments with such depth and grace. I found myself cheering the boys along and gasping aloud when something went wrong. This story absolutely hooked me the whole time I was reading, and I felt so rewarded by the end. Fantastic; an insta-favorite. Warnings for rape, torture, dubious consent, enslavement.


• Dance Partners by dementordelta
  Severus/Harry. Like all of DementorDelta's writing, this was a quietly beautiful Snarry with an interesting premise. A twenty-five-year-old Harry, who is in a relationship with Snape, loses ten years of his memory. His lover helps him recover it. I highly recommend all of her other Snarry fics, as well.


• Felinated by AbstractConcept
  Severus/Harry. After Nagini, Narcissa Malfoy turns Snape into a cat to save his life, then makes him Harry's problem. Meanwhile, someone is sabotaging the repairs to Hogwarts. Like all of AbstractConcept's fics, this one was hilarious and has a cool plot and action, too! Imagine Severus as a cat, if you will—that's right, nasty, greasy, spitting, hissing, biting random people. Wonderful. Quote: Smiling crookedly, Harry stroked his back. "You think I'm worth something?" he asked shyly. Snape gagged again. "Should have known better than to ask," Harry said with a sigh. Snape coughed up a hairball. It landed square in the middle of Harry's chest. I highly recommend reading all of this author's fics, which can be found here.


• In Mulieribus by Mommybird
  Severus/Harry, Harry/Hermione, genderbending. I can't say how much I love this utterly hot and funny piece. Hoping to undo Harry, Voldemort casts a spell that turns him into a woman. To everyone's surprise, Harry finds he doesn't mind so much. Score a point for feminism on this fic, which is a really fun Snarry that does something I haven't seen done that often. Harry and Snape are together before the curse, and Harry wonders if Snape will still want him when he's a woman. Also includes sexual!mentor!Hermione in a wonderful role. Quote: He decided that there was a Great Secret of the Universe, which was that sex was better for women than for men, only no one would ever admit it. Was there a way that knowledge would help him defeat Voldemort? You have to sign into the Restricted Section to read the fic, but it's really worth it!


• Nobody’s Savior (56,322 words) by suitesamba
  Severus/Harry. In this brilliant, original AU, Dumbledore kept Harry’s existence a secret, so Harry never attended Hogwarts, and the first the wizarding world learns of him is when he walks into Hermione’s parents’ office for an emergency dental appointment. The way the author shows us everyone’s reactions to Harry (particularly Hermione’s and Snape’s) and then Harry’s reaction to magic was perfect, like a condensed form of all the magical education in the books together. It really makes you realize how bewildering it must be to have all this information thrown at you as an adult instead of starting as an eleven-year-old and having years to digest it. My favorite part was the details about how Harry ended up constructing his life and finding meaning without knowing about magic: this story really made me fall in love with him all over again (and cheer for him and Severus together!).


• On Wednesday by Jay Tryfanstone
  Severus/Harry. Author's summary: “Postwar. Food, owls and taxes. There might be a plot in there somewhere.” This...this reads like the first chapter of Philosopher's Stone, that one that drew you in and made you love the wizarding world. Utterly fabulous. Quote: Mr Potter drives home from work. It's Wednesday. There's also a sequel, Apricot Dreaming.

Hello Question on fic maybe you know

I was searching for a Harry/Severus fic and i cant find it anywhere and didnt know who to ask.
There is this story I have been looking for, its where Harry and Severus are married and live in a cottage and Severus is annoyed with Harry for different reasons his feet are cold and he pushes them on to Severus, the way they have sex. So Severus starts having sex with Draco and asks to leave and Harry says I release you. Severus leaves and Harry has a miscarriage and then Severus realizes what hes missing and tries to get Harry back which he does in the end.
I dont know the name of this story or the author or if it is even from ffn.
I would greatly appreciate the help.
