Handlebars by Flobots

So I recently heard the song "Handlebars" by Flobots again and I was really struck by its meaning...if you don't know what I'm talking about, please see the lyrics here or the amazing video here. The song is about the enormous potential humans have, either for creativity (when, for example, singing or dancing or riding a bike with no hands) or for destruction (like military power or Fascist regimes), and I couldn't help but apply it to our potential towards nature.

I always thought the song was more about the arrogance and corruption that can come along with talent, or that creative capacity.
