Does anybody else kind of obsessively sing and have a ringtone of the theme song of Captain Planet? "Earth! Fire! Wind! Water! Heart!" The intro was interesting, combining a variety of races from different continents (though not Africa, oddly enough) to save the universe from itself. But I think it's kind of sad that Gaia had to send people with special powers to save herself, that she couldn't, say, teach us normal ringless humans how to do it ourselves. Maybe it would be better if we were told that Captain Planet is actually us.
