Holy shiiiiiiiiit, the trailer for The Imitation Game is here!!! And it look amaaaaazing, seriously. OMG, the part with the wheels had me on the edge of my seat. Really can't wait!!!

Perfect belated birthday present to Benedict Cumberbatch (who turned 38 on July 19!). :)

In other news, the Madame Tussauds in London is in the process of making a wax figure of Benedict as well, haha. They are measuring him carefully. ;)

“Finally I can photobomb myself!” joked Cumberbatch. “What a weird and wonderful compliment to be included in the ranks of talent already committed to wax. I've been accused of being wooden in my work but never waxy!”

Ben Sweet, our General Manager, commented: “...Our guests made it very clear they wanted to see him in the attraction, and we can’t wait for them to meet his figure later this year.”

LOL I BET THEY DID!! Can you imagine how many fans demanded that Benedict be included?! I would be one of them had I visited recently!

I remember visiting the wax museum in London with my dad and having so much fun posing with the pretend celebrities. As I recall, my favorite one was with the figure of Andrew Sachs (who plays Manuel from John Cleese's Fawlty Towers) because his figure was holding a tray of drinks and suspended in time while kind of falling backward. Fun pictures. :)

Now I have another great reason to visit again (if I can find the funds and time, lol)!

The trailer looks so good! I haven't even realized this movie was happening even though it has all of my favorite actors. Such a pleasant surprise. Sometimes it pays off to live under a rock xD.

OMG, I would love to, but alas, I'm in America so it might be years until I can get enough money and vacation time to go. :((( I'm hoping that it's filmed so I can watch it in movie theaters like they did with Frankenstein. :)

Oh, that's such a shame. I'm rearing to go, if we manage to get tickets. It's outrageous going all the way to London just for a play, but hell, it would be marvellous if it would come true, somehow.

I do hope they will film it. Well, they would if they were smart. :)

I've decided not to watch the trailers of The Imitation Game or just anything before it's released. I want it to be a really, really good film and to see it with a fresh eye so to speak.

Okay, I agree with pretty much everything about this post. The trailer, yes yes, it will be brilliant, but then I am a mathematician by training so I was always going to be all over this project with or without Benedict.

But the Tussaud reaction? Yes, I am giggling like (as) a wildly giggling thing over his reaction to that. Also, given the number of fanfic inspired by John/Sherlock, + the other (alternate dimension/mysteriously cloned/etc.) Sherlock in hot sexytiems? Yeah, that could be an *ovaries go poof* reference for some in the fandom. Really, though, it's just good Dorky!Batch fun of the highestcaliber.

And now I must try to stop squeeing because I saw the trailer five minutes ago and am still smiling.

I would have loved not to watch the trailer and to see it fresh, but I frequent Benedict news sites and tumblr, where everything is put into gif form pretty much instantly, so I figured I'd watch it just once to get context when I inevitably come across those. But yes, on movies I am definitely going to watch, I also prefer to not watch the trailers because then I look out for those moments. But with Benedict's stuff it can't be helped, unfortunately. :(

OMG, I really really hope you get to go see Hamlet! Please do and then share the details and what you thought! I desperately hope they do film it and share it internationally, but if not I will rely on reviews from the lucky ones who get to go. :)

Thisss, I have to temper my expectations for everything. But I still have high hopes! *crosses fingers* But at any rate, Benedict looks fantastic in it, so there is always that to look forward to. I'm so excited. :)

Uhm, well, first we must get the tickets of course. But if we do manage to get those I'm pretty sure I'll be nothing but an incoherent puddle in the seat for the whole time the play lasts. Thinking thinky thoughts will be impossible, I'm afraid.
