So, some news!

—Mark Gatiss, Steven Moffat, and Sue Vertue are at Comic-Con talking Sherlock series 3 (recap here)
—We got a trailer for Twelve Years a Slave
—We got a trailer for The Fifth Estate
—Benedict is in Japan wearing a yukata (yum)
—Benedict was nominated for a Best Actor Emmy for Parade's End (woot!)
—It's Benedict's 37th birthday (born July 19, 1976)!!

And then there's this gem. Laughing until there are ACTUAL TEARS:

Benedict, you dork. (And does anybody else think Martin looks a little like John Lennon with those glasses and that hair?)

It is a good day to be a Sherlockian. :)

OMG - I laughed so much!!! Though I missed the mention of Mycroft dressed up as a woman in an inflatable skirt...
Yes, I can see the resemblance, too - he's the hobbitsy version of John Lennon. :)

Unfortunately, I didn't get to see it, I only discovered a ridiculously funny gif series on tumblr afterwards - and thought WTF???
By the way, with that hair, Benedict also reminds me of somebody else - only I can't remember who. :) When I get there, I'll share it with you...

Yes, it was a heavy week, lol, and I think I actually caught most of it! With that vid, it was somehow so typical of both of them - Martin all sharp and to the point, and Benedict rambling away. And I feel strangely happy that he knows what a flat white is *g*

It really was typical of both of them. I keep chuckling because of Benedict's translator in Japan being such a trooper in attempting to keep up with his ramblings and him being so appreciative of her. Ahhh, so cute! :D
