Yay, glad you enjoyed! It was quite the experience watching them all. I'm so not used to seeing black and white films that I didn't realize how great they were--and how much Sherlock as a production owes to them.
But, yes, I'm rather upset at the direction they took Watson in. He's still loveable, but it makes me feel so sorry for Holmes because he literally has help from nobody.
