More Thoreau Wisdom
"Thank God men cannot fly, and lay waste the sky as well as the earth."
--Henry David Thoreau
This statement is so ironic, considering all the pollution, aesthetic and otherwise, caused from the horribly inefficient airline industry. Odd that Thoreau couldn't predict such a contraption--or perhaps he did, and this quote is the ironic conclusion. At any rate, it is quite sad.
