The Traveling Lemon

Ah, Cabin Pressure. The things you make us do. *facepalm*

As requested by [livejournal.com profile] lobelia321, may I present my contribution to the Traveling Lemon Project for John Finnemore: Lemon in Non-Descript Backyard/Field in Texas. I wish I lived near some awesome national landmark or obvious place, but unfortunately, I kind of live in the middle of nowhere. (It took me forever just to find a postcard for Martin Freeman.)

See this post by [livejournal.com profile] pudupudu for details on the Traveling Lemon Project. :)

Lemon in the heart of Texas.

Lemon on the swing.

Photobucket

On a table that desperately needs its sun-shading umbrella!

Photobucket

By our catfish pond. The lemon looks so small here! :/

Photobucket

Overlooking the ranch area.

Photobucket

Alas, we have no horses, but my neighbor does!

Photobucket

This picture doesn’t actually have a lemon in it; I just thought the horses were so lovely.

Photobucket

This is the one I actually submitted to the project. Mostly because it has pretty horses in it. :D

Hope you enjoy!

Oh God, yes, we have sunshine. Please, for all that is good and holy, please come and take some of it AWAY. There is a lot--far too much. (Okay, I'll stop trying to quote John in ASiP now!)

But seriously, it's too hot. Averaging 90 degrees, no shade, droughts, sunburns, the whole nine yards. I wasn't outside that long taking photos, but when I came in I had to immediately go shower because I was drenched. I REGRET NOTHING, though; it was tons of fun. :D

I would absolutely love to see the faces of those tourists when you took their place with...a lemon. Hahahahaha!
